Last Night of the Proms
Our next concert is an early celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III.
It is at St Peter’s Church, Formby – on Friday 21st April at 7:30. Entry is free, but donations will be most welcome – in aid of the Church’s Roof Appeal. This much-loved Parish Church on Green Lane, needs to spend in excess of £60,000 to prevent serous damage from the ingress of water through aged coping stones and joints.
The concert will include a wide range of music – much of it with a connection with previous coronations. There will be something for everyone, with music which is variously sacred, secular, serious and frivolous!
